Wood Fuelled Boiler Systems
DalesRenewables Install high efficiency wood-fuelled heating systems (log boilers and wood-pellet boilers) which offer
a clean, reliable alternative to gas and oil heating systems. We install either wood pellet or gasifying log boilers according
to the needs of the customer and the installation requirements. All the boilers that we install are eligible for the RHI.
- Gasifying Log Batch Boilers
As the name suggests these boilers are loaded with a batch of logs and fired up once a day (or less often as required).
The large volume of hot water generated is stored in what is called a Buffer Tank or Accumulator with normally a
minimum of 1,000 Ltrs which feeds the central heating and domestic hot water systems.
- Pellet Boilers
These make wood fuel as convenient as oil and almost as convenient as gas They can range in size from boilers with an output as small as
3-4 Kw up to 150Kw or more with hoppers to store pellets, or small wood stove in a living room fed with bags of pellets. These run on a
timer and thermostat, as a gas or oil boiler would, feeding into a standard hot water cylinder and central heating.
